Hi

A scam has taken place by an Englishman and Thai wife who have relocated from Hua Hin live in Ban Sapan. the Englishman has suffered from Ulcers for many yaers and was taken to Hospital in Chompon where he undertook medical care. The couple whenasked abou the bill pleaded destitute, the foriegn community of Ban Sapan and Hua Hin gathered together and made contribution's in excess of 300,00 baht.

The Englishman then had a motorbike accident in Ban Sapan, the wife pleaded poverty again to no avail in Ban Sapan, she then went to Hua Hin for more funds stating the husband had had a relapse on the original operation.

The couple have been sub letting the bar "Sugarcane" in Hua Hin for 50,000 baht a month, they pay 15,000 baht a month which give's them an income of 35,000 baht a month, call in and ask the current tennants.

The couple have been renovating a property in Ban Sapan for the last 3 month's, it has been operating for the last month, they have paid the first years rent in advance, they now run a bar in Ban Sapan.

I live and work in Ban Sapan and have come to Hua Hin for a few days, this info was easy to find, Not sure the people of Hua Hin are aware of these facts'.

I know who you are talking about, they had some do's around the bars, I did not subscribe because I did not like the guy. Does not surprise me, compulsive liar.

Question? Is their anyone who has had a drink bought for them by this man? He ran a bar in Hua Hin for about 5 years, bill was never the same 60, 65 and 70 baht for san som and coke.

He wont be missed.

The OP is a fabrication by someone who has had a long running fued with the person in question, Chris.

There's three of us that I know of, who all know each other but socialise in different circles, that seperately have been down to visit him in hospital and satisfy ourselves of the help he needed before putting it to the rest of the town. His condition is a long standing one which most locals who knew him were aware of when he lived in Hua Hin.

He is a popular guy around Hua Hin, very well liked by the majority but as he used to run the pool league there was bound to be people who had petty disagreements with him on the rules, one local turned this into a vendetta, however the rest of the league members fully supported Chris and the instigator was barred from the league.

Chris and his wife's hospitality in the bar they used to run was appreciated by locals and tourists, this is bourne out by the way the locals rallied round organising combined charity and fund-raising events on his behalf. This is a continuation of the vendetta and very unfortunate considering Chris' serious and long-running health issues.

I live and work in Ban Sapan and have come to Hua Hin for a few days
Then I'm surprised you haven't noticed it's actually named 'Bang Saphan' :)

Chamapgne Super, Burger, Burgernev or Super Joe has stated is rubbish, some people may have gone down to visit him in hospital originally but the situation has moved on.

He is fit and well now, has been seen by local's from Hua Hin over April and May.

I personally know one who spoke with him in Ban Saphan, the motorbike accident was his last visit to hosital.

He has a Bar now fully kitted out and the first year paid for in advance.

I have also been told that people are unsure whether the hospital bill has been paid?

Fact is he is as well as anyone in Thailand, running around on the newly repaired motorcycle and drinking in the local bars, with a new business paid for in advance (by whom) thats a fact.

Chamapgne Super, Burger, Burgernev or Super Joe too much white powder up the nose. :D

If I pay rent of 15K a month on my bar and someone else is willing to sublet it from me at 50K whose fault is that?

Absolutely, the point is they are pleading poverty, hardly the case when you are drawing 35k every month. if we had known this when asked for money, the contribution's would not have been forthcoming.

The Facts :D

They have an income of 35,000 baht/month plus a pension, hardly destitute. (Income from the bar in Hua Hin) I have checked this by asking at the Sugarcane Bar in Hua Hin, easily checked.

Last time hospitalised was due to a motorbike accident, not a relapse or illness, ask any Ex Pat in Saphan.

Chris is well and is seen often on his motorbike around Saphan from April onwards.

New Bar in Saphan leased with rent paid in advance, 1 year, lease taken out in February, refurbished and running beginning of March.

Any further info please PM me or we can meet, often at the Bang Saphan Guest House which is run by an Ex Pat and who will I am sure verify any of the above as will the majority of Ex Pats here.

Enjoyed my stay here in Hua hin and Cha Am, going back to Saphan now, will be home approx 1900 hrs ready for the Football. :)

MysteryPlane,

LOL, keep making stuff up you're good at that.

Yesterday you wrote "Does not surprise me", but today you are suddenly personally aware of all the details :)

Hua Hin locals are well aware of your (MysteryPlane = rbt1) vendetta against Chris due to the incidents in the pool league, you also vented your fury towards him on here in a thread last year, which lead to it being removed by Admin.

I won't get into a slanging match with you about it, I'll leave it to the facts and the people that matter to judge for themselves.

Adios,

CS

Yes you have to join to post. But If you bothered to read it properly that's not what I was saying ????

I'm always very dubious of a first post slagging someone or some business off especially when I know the person accused. Smacks of a personal dislike!

Oh and if you are being pedantic " whithout " & " taked " & " mispell " ????????????? :D

The postee may not be English, lets see you write a post in a foriegn language, OK?

Perhaps you could check all the gramma and spelling on this forum, give you something to do.

Is it really that important? :D

:) yes i know my grammar tends to object itself sometime, however the final means of "communicating" is just to understand each others, while not necessarely agree with each others, so if you can understand what i means then i reach my final target and i am happy with it :D ...was i wrong in interpretating your post on that way? to me looked just like that....
