Rinrada
Roughly the difference between a night stay in a S***ho*e like the Nana Hotel and a decent flop joint. As I said I must try it one day....looks great.but if you want the nana, pong, cowboy and nightlife..well... ???

bandy
Royal River Hotel is a long way from Nana on the other side of the River - however is fairly close to the Big Palace "Grand Palace". I have stayed there several times and find it to be good value (1500B - for river view). There can be a wait for taxis (as it is off the beaten track) and I dont know what there policy on admitting guests is - however access to rooms is not next to reception. Soboringtochooseaname
Hi Have you been to Royal river hotel lately ? Did they renovate it or it is still the same as in 2003 ? Is there any other hotel near a taxi boat stop ? (Montien is too far from temples and other things to see near the river) Thanks.
