Hi

Does anyone know why I can't download torrents with my TOT internet provider. It's provided through my apartment. Does TOT block torrent downloads? Is it possible to torrent through TOT?

I'd like to get a personal connection if I can't remedy the situation but I can't get Truehomewifi or Maxnet because they don't cover my soi on sukhumvit. Is there any provider that covers everywhere for a personal connection?

Appreciate any help with this.

The most likely explanation is the owner of your building (or whoever controls the router) is blocking BT traffic. TOT doesn't block BT traffic as far as I know, but I believe they do limit bandwidth, or at least attempt to anyway, but this wouldn't explain your problem. Have you tried using a different port? Which soi are you on? You should be able to get a connection with True pretty much anywhere on Sukhumvit in Bangkok. You might also want to ask the mods to move this topic to the tech forum.
