Can Anybody Help ?

Featured Replies

I am looking for information and have been scouring the internet to find something without any success.

My family and I (wife and 3 children) moved to Kamala, Phuket just under 2 years ago. We have lost almost everything in the recent Tsunami and are now unable to rebuild our lives out here.

The family is looking for advice on getting help being repatriated to the UK, NOT for funds. They report that the UK embassy has not been of any help.

I am sorry for your loss.

I am perplexed as to why your family and the UK embassy will not help you. Is your wife Thai/ UK?

Most locals have not received much financial help here, so your chances are slim. Good luck anyhows.

Do you have anything you could put down as a guarantee? If so I would be prepared to help.

wow, I feel sorry for you. Can't understand why your family or hers is not willing to help. What about your friends?

kamala is where I live also and it is pretty hard here still. BUT it will improve.

Thank you for the very kind offer, but unfortunately I dont have anything to put as a guarantee.

Thats why I was asking if anyone knew of a body perhaps in the UK that could help.

Thanks again anyway :o
