Windows Task Names and Spyware Database.

http://www.what-is-exe.com/

Listed is a directory of DLL files and EXE files, including Windows system processes and tasks, known system files, and various spyware and adware files. Clicking each file name will identify the purpose of any of the files listed in this directory.

Thanks very much for this.. Very interesting :)

If you use the program Whatsrunning (Freeware, download at: http://www.whatsrunning.net), which is an advanced Taskmanager, you can visual see the access of files, services pp and while do an right click on an files you can choose: Get Info Online. That gives you direct instant infos and you can also directly choose to let run or not.

From my point of view much more efficient than to use an Database file in which you've to first to search for what you looking for pp. A lot more steps and even more difficult to handle.

Just my 2 Satangs!

Cheers.

Reimar, can you edit the [ url ] string to not include the right parentheisis ")" before the closing [/url]? It will save folks getting an error from their broswer if they click the link.
