GungaDin
I haven't the time to mess about with Palm seeds. They are a PITA. Does anyone have locations and possibly rough prices of Palm seedlings within 50kms of BKK? Thanks, gd
sbk
Out on the ring road there are quite a few large nurseries, have you checked them?
GungaDin
If you mean Route 9, no, not yet. I'll probably rent a ute for 2 days as I'm looking for a dozen Cananga Odorata & a dozen Magnolia Champaca Michelia champaca Thanks. sbk
I have a cananga, not a beautiful plant but the scent is astounding, esp in the early evening. I tried growing a champaca once but it got eaten by bugs. Wish i could get the husband to drive up to bangkok to fill the truck up with plants but he is most uncooperative on that point

sbk
Cananga is Kradang nga Champaca is, I think, Champa Khao. Left my plant dictionaries in Thailand so had to stretch my brain to remember

sbk
Well, its my little hobby, gardening. And over the years, I've bought a few books, as well as started my own notebook, listing Thai names, English names and latin names.
