Best Value Transfers In The Premier

Just been looking at an interesting debate on the above in another forum, and not surprisingly an Evertonian thinks Moyes is the top manager for this. But to take it a step further he suggests Moyes gets first, second and third prizes for :-

1) Cahill

2) Arteta

3) Jagielka

Any challengers?

is that supposed to be in the history of the premiership? because there have been free transfers who would have to be considered as great value. arteta wasn't that cheap anyway, relatively.

This seasons best transfer for Stoke has to be James Beattie,7 goals since January, contributed to a few more goals and generaly increased the team spirit in ther dressing room.

what does he do in the dressing room to get everyone so fruitful?

Thats on the pitch, not in the dressing room.

he encourages tony pulis to pull players off at half-time?

are you trying to say he'll give you mouthfull at half-time, if youre not pulling your own?

Beattie is just a perfect fit to our team with the a never say die attitude and one like the rest who puts in 100% - he's made plenty of money in his career but he still isn't afraid of putting a shift and grafting for the team.

Also don't forget our other 'bargain bin' transfer Abdoulaye Faye for a mere 2.5 mil from the Loony Toons he's had an absolutely phenomenal season totally soild and dependable at CB. Even talk of Arsenal being interested in him . . . which he has already come out and said I have absolutely no interest in leaving Stoke as he love the club, the fans and manager. A Stoke legend in the making.

Yes you can see by the minimal amount of clubs he's played for he is without doubt loyal.

Youre just as deluded as your weirdo mate Patklang to say he wouldnt leave to go to Arsenal if they were interested which the arent.

Of course I'm deluded . . . and your just bitter and jealous that not only are we completely safe and have the possibility of top 10 position but in this you sold Abdy Faye for 2.5mill and bought Collocini for over 10mil AND you're staring relegation in the face.

Amazing what a well run football club can do!

Amazing what a well run football club can do!

1 year in the top flight doesnt constitute a well run football club ..... but its a start.

Consistant improve over 3 season since Peter Coates regained control is actually what a well run club has done.
