bneth360
So our 60 day (tourist) visa is just about to expire and we want to go to a local immigration to get the 30 day visa extension. We don't speak Thai so we were wondering if anyone has a suggestion as to which location is best with English speaking people? Also does anyone know what paper work is needed and the cost associated with it? Any advice would help and thanks a ton everyone!
LivinginKata
Officers all speak enough English to process Visa extension. Can got to Patong or Phuket Town offices. Need passport photo and copies of relevant pages of your passport, plus your passport. 1,900 baht fee.
chickencurry
Phuket Town Immigration usually has one or two expat voluntary police there. There were two there this morning. The one we chatted to was English. They're just inside the entrance on the left.

hkt83100
.... Can got to Patong or Phuket Town offices. ...Sorry, I have to correct here. Patong does only the 'Longer-than-90-days-Report', for an extension you would have to go to the office in Phuket City.(Reason for edit: quote shortened) Edited May 21, 2009 by hkt83100

Maybe not these days, so what does Patong offer ?
