DanielleXPT
Hello Ladies, I currently have an IUD and I need to get it taken out and a new one put in. I do not want the one with hormones, and would like a nice female OBGYN. Does anyone know where I can have this done and at a reasonably price. In the states they are about 500 USD so I am hoping to find the same one over here, but a little cheaper.
Boo
where are you located? $500 really? Wow that is stupidly expensive. God love the NHS, I'm getting one fitted in 2 weeks & it is free.
LazyCat
I have just had a coil placed in Bamrungrad , it cost me around 4000Bht. I did it at my OBGYN Dr. Nopadol Saropala he is really nice, I had 2 kids delivered with him

DanielleXPT
Sorry for popping in here ladies.... didn't realize what an IUD was but just wanted to add that my wife's OBGYN is a woman and she goes to Samitivej Hospital In case you didnt find out what one is, it is a form of birth control that can last for around five-seven years and one has hormones, one does not. I am not a big fan of the hormones and when I was on the pill I forgot to take it, so this is much better. IUD's although for me painful getting one in, it has really been worth it!! Could you tell me your wifes OBGYN's name? Thanks
CWMcMurray
If you go to the website of the hospital you can take a look at the doctors and their qualifications and even make an appointment online if you like. Just copied the below info on my wife's OBGYN from the wesite... fyi they have 10 female OBGYNs working at their Srinakaran Hospital and only 5 male OBGYNs. All 15 OBGYNs speak both Thai and English. Doctor Name : Wacharaporn Weerakul , M.D. Specialty : OB/GYN, WOMEN - GYNECOLOGY Sub Specialty : สูตินรีเวชวิทยา (OB/GYN, WOMEN - GYNECOLOGY) Expertise : Language : ENGLISH THAI Education : M.D. Diplomate Thai Board Obstetrics and Gynecology Diplomate Thai Sup-Speciality Board of Reproductive Medicine
submaniac
Sorry for popping in here ladies.... didn't realize what an IUD was I hear you. I thought the "I" was an "L" in the thread title. I opened the thread just to see what a "Lud" was in Thailand, and where I could find it.
