Bugger!!

I hope Strachan doesn't end up at Sunderland, but I have a nasty feeling he might. Oh crap! :)

You lot were creaming your pants when Roy Keane was appointed,a total disaster as he was not a good manager, now you have a chance of getting an experienced one and you moan.

Maybe Strachan doesnt want to come to a crap team

I think it would be a managers dream to come to a great club with a crap team

Only if he had millions to spend.

A great club because despite the utter dross that has been served up for the last 2 seasons average attendances this season have been over 40,000. at the stunning Stadium of Light.

A great club with a much acclaimed academy. This academy helped Sunderland reserves win The Premier Reserve League Northern section ahead of Man Utd.

A great club with a great chairman in Niall Quinn who refuses to lose faith.

You say "Only if he had millions to spend" well maybe you are unaware that, this week, Ellis Short his upping his stake in the club and according to The People newspaper is bringing with him a kitty of £200 million.

Sunderland have been a yoyo club for all of my 49 years and some people seem to think thats all they'll ever be, but when you look at where the club is NOW in terms of infrastructure it is indeed a great club with a crap team.

Total disaster? When he took over, they were bottom of the Championship. They won the league that very season. Next season he kept them in the Premier League. He's a bag of spanners, but I bet a lot of clubs wish they could have a total disaster like that.

Can't see Strachan being up there next......maybe a manager with a high profile......perhaps Steve Mclaren fits the bill :)
