As Air Asia operate on the point-to-point basis you cannot though check either yourself or your bags (if any). Thus you have to clear immigration into and out of Malaysia if on an international connection, and check in again for your next flight. They are very strict with the minimum check in time too. I would suggest an absolute minimum of two hours between flights.

Crap,

2 hours between flites to avoid any arrival delay, good idea.

I am happy to have a 1 hour time between flites.

Arrival immigration usually no more than 15 mins, ditto for the next connection immigration departure.

Leaves half hour to grab a snack landside, or more safely airside.

Done it often, gunna get caught out maybe, one trip........lol

I would suggest that it is your travel planning which could be usefully described as "crap" amigo.

Air Asia's minimum check in time is 45 minutes. This is strictly enforced - fail to meet it and you lose everything. Leaving one hour between such flights is a pretty stupid policy.

My travel with Air Asia goes back nigh on 6 years experience.

They are good, but sometimes late.

THAT the main worry, not affected me yet.

The checkin closes a lot less than 45 mins.

Well I guess we all have our own preferences when travelling. There is a clearly stated minimum check in time of 45 minutes, maybe you've been lucky in getting this waived, but equally I've personally seen people turned away. IMO travelling is stressful enough alreeady - I wouldn't want to be landing at the LCCT fifteen minutes before check in closes for my next flight.
