Miso G-01 Gps Navigator

Featured Replies

I have just seen an inexpensive GPS system for sale in Pattaya with a brand name "MISO". I have tried to find some info by searching the web, but can find nothing. Does anyone know of this product and whether it's a secure/good purchase? It's full model name is : "Miso G-01-GPS Navigator"

Thanks.

Seems very cheap to me. Get what you pay for? Anyone have any experience of one of these units to share?

I bought one few weeks ago from pattaya. The device name is Igo but I think it is same device. It has thailand and europe maps. I paid 5500 (price was originally 6900) for it, which is about 115 euros. Only europe maps costs 149 euros so I am happy with the price. There was also a model that had bluetooth (7500 path), but I have no use for it so I took one with out. Also if you by a bluetooth model, check first that it works so that you can use it with your mobile. I tried but couldnt get it work so that i could hear the speak from the GPS.

The device has worked well. One big problem though. I noticed that I cant recharge it with a car recharger. It looks like recharging but it doesnt. I think it somehow overdrives the battery so that it only gives power to the device, but the battery still goes empty. I have to look for what is the problem. The recharger at home works well.

It has so many features that it takes a little while to get used to. But if you only know address and want to go there, that is easy. But I use it for motorcycle trips and want to make more complex routes, then it is a little hard.

You can also play music, videos and look pictures if you want. It has also AV IN but I dont know why. To use it as monitor or what???

I am still learning the device, but I would say buy one if you need a cheap navigator that has maps for thailand and europe.
