george
Body of Thai Man found in undergrowth at the Maprachan Reservoir On Sunday Afternoon, Police Colonel Somnook, the Chief of Banglamung Police made his way to the Maprachan Reservoir following reports that the decomposed body of a man had been discovered in undergrowth. At the scene Police inspected the body of a Thai Man who was carrying no forms of identification. An initial inspection of the body indicated a single gun shot wound to the head. Khun Nit, who had come to the reservoir to catch some fish, discovered the body, however a local resident, Khun Sanyar aged 36 remembered hearing a single gun shot late last Thursday Night. He also saw a Red vehicle leaving the scene at speed. At the time, he did not call the Police and thought it was just a group of young people playing around. The dead man is thought to be a local resident because of a Buddhist emulate found on the body which originates from a Temple here in Pattaya. Nothing else is known about the case as Banglamung Police begin a murder investigation. -- Pattaya One News 2009-06-
