Bowling In Ubon

No wonder I am getting confused with the opening hours.

Here is a pic of the sign out the front that I took today.

I went down and bowled three games. Noise was too loud but as I was by myself it didn't worry me too much as I wasn't talking to anyone. Would be hard though if I was with friends.

Three games @ 70 baht each + 50 baht for shoes and socks. One large beer Leo was 80 baht plus 20 baht for ice (it was a huge bucket and I used about 5% of it)

Wow,,, maybe the words was bit off,,but at least you should know what i mean,, i wuld never do such a thing that put words to some one esles mouth.

but never mind,,,Ubon is Ubon and always will be...i was just make a point on those behave who actually bowling and not behave of those who havent sign letter.

No offense intended Marco :-) Just discussing ideas.

I think MeMock's idea of a petition is a good way to tackle this, if you feel strongly about it. You could ask management to post it in the bowling alley, in Thai and English. e.g.

"Would you like the music:

a ) Louder

b ) As it is

c ) Quieter"

Cheers,

Mike

  • 2 years later...

Bowled there yesterday Memock ( Xmas day ).

It's still very loud so i suspect the speakers haven't been turned down at all.

Also, you used to get complimentary Coke's if there was a few of you but i was told it's under new management from last week and they've stopped all promotions, freebies etc. angry.png

Not really the way to bring in new customers !
