colinscarr
Assuming you mean St Petersburg Russia and that you are starting from BKK; either take Thai to Moscow and connect from there, or Finnair to Helsinki and on to St Petersburg. Alternatively, you could take a train for the final leg from either Moscow or Helsinki.
ozsamurai
Yes it was Russia of course, so Thai is the only one to Moscow? Thai quotes 164,000 are they nuts?? Oz Edited June 10, 2009 by ozsamurai
jbaldwin
Try Aeroflot via Moscow Finn Air via Helsinki or Air Brlin via Dusseldorf
jrbkk64
Try Transaero. At least in the winter they fly there. Not sure about now. If they don't you can go to Moscow and then connect to STP. They should be cheap and, although old planes, seem to have a good safety record.
CHdiver
You could go with Aerosvit. Thats a Ukrainian Airline, ok quality. They ask for a Returnflight (Testdate was in July) 573 US Dollar, nice. You have to change flight in Kiew. Enjoy the vodka. www.aerosvit.com
Agenda
+1 for Aerosvit. Your best choice here.
Happy Jack
I did this a few years ago. I took a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt then Finn air to Helsinki, then a bus to St Petersburg. The only hassle was a terrible lack of legroom on the Lufthansa flight so i would suggest a different airline for that leg.
islandguy
Transaero mostly does package tours. I think you can find air only, but maybe only during slow periods or only bookable not too far in advance. Some new planes, some pretty old ones. Don't expect the same flight experience as Lufthansa Very expensive overweight baggage fees. I think St. Petersburg gets far more tourists than Moscow, everything might be easier if you are connecting through Northern Europe.
Dmitry
try www.swiss.com for direct generally you do not want to mess with moscow-petersburg flight i do not recommend Transaero - their planes are very old
steelepulse
Singapore Air has all in 24K Return to Moscow. http://www.singaporeair.com/saa/en_UK/cont.../theworld_V.jsp Look at the bottom of the page and you'll see Moscow.
