yumidesign
Found this little guy when I came home tonight, he was just begging to be photographed!! very cute, more animal and less fingure would be an improvement
The Vulcan
That's good although I'm not sure there's much more animal/reptile to show! Just as an aside maybe it would emphasise the image if the background was black? Here's a quick and rough idea. If you take a bit of time and trace/mask the finger a bit better than me it might work out. I toned the red down a little and also opened up the eye detail. Also re-sizing it as per the second image might help to fit the screen a bit better Irrespective, a very unusual example and a keeper for sure Edited June 14, 2009 by The Vulcan
McLovin
Im not a photographer, but from a layman's point of view, that's a great shot indeed.
51NAH
Thanks for the feedback and comments. Vulcan I like what you did with the black background, I doubt I'd be able to get it any better though (even if I did know how ). I bounced the built in flash off the wall behind the lizard and was a bit too close resulting in too much "flare"? Having fun playing around with this old camera now, will be getting a Macro lens for the 450D in the near future. Cheers Dan
