Anyone on here have been to F1 race in Singapore last year? How was your experience?

I would love to go this year. Any advice?

I saw it once in SPA ( Belgium). It was great

Was there last year, overall ok but it is a street circuit so you wont see that much track. However the cars and the whole city looks stunning at night with all that light. I was in turn 1 last year and it was ok. If i can make it this year i propably go for the turn 2 grandstands where you can see the whole main straight and also turns 1 to 3. Other option would be the "floating" stand area.

Being singapore the race is quite well organized but also expensive. And it will cost money to get a hotel room for the race weekend.

My only complain from last year was that there was way too few places where you can buy a beer, other drinks or food. Long que everywhere up to half an hour or more. But i hope they have sorted it out this year. And my experience was only behind the grandstand and first corners. Possibly other areas were better.

And you gotta love public transport in spore. After the race you just walk to shuttle bus near by and in few minutes are in subway on your way home. I'm still amazed how they are able to move that many people so fast from the track.

I will be wearing my Ferrari tshirt ( like other 1000 people on the stand) hehe

I'm one of the guys with big Iceman logo in the back of a ferrari shirt

I do hope i can make it also this year having missed Malaysia first time in years.
