A 20 X 35 centimetre crab was found by a local fisherman at Koh Sireh on the east side of Phuket island on Saturday. Fisheries officials said it is of ‘Green’ crab type. The local fishermen contacted the provincial Fisheries Research centre and gave the crab for them to breed. This is the third giant crab found this month in this region.
