Hi all..

first of all im new to the forum but i have used it on a number of occassions..especially when sorting out that visa issue (shortened to 15 days for overland guys) and it was very helpful!

anyway my girlfriend and I sent boxes back home from BK. Mine got through fine but hers went to the destination..was delivered incorrectly and is now back in thailand. The tracking online says its in the Bangkok HQ postcentre.

My questions is:

does anyone know contact details for the thai post agency

an email address (that isnt full)

we cant seem to contact the thai postal company at all. Which is a shame considering the guys there were so helpful when we were sending the boxes off..

anyway thanks in advance if anyone can help!

You could try here as it is BKK's main post office...

General Post Office (GPO) Charoen Krung

Communication - Mail & Package Services

1156 Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok, Thailand 10500

Phone: 02-233-1050

Open 24 hours, some English spoken. 1156 Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok. Phone 02-233-1050.

The top man on the Post Restante desk (just inside the main door and to your left) speaks good English and is very friendly and helpful.

Hope this helps.

OOPS! Not 24hrs....see next post (mods can delete this one, and/or correct the last one with the info below, as I can't see how to, sorry. :D :D :) )

Edited by Scottish Thailander

Open 24 hours, <<<<<---------- NOT!!!! :D

:D Sorry, :D this was a mistake. Not open 24hrs. The telegraph office used to be but that closed recently. The rest is still correct.

The correct opening hours of the main post office on Thanon Charoen Krung are from 8.00am until 8.00pm from Monday to Friday and from 8.00am until 1.00pm at weekends and on public holidays.
