90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I would really appreciate some assistance, as I find that the goal posts keep moving .....

I recently moved from Ubon to Pattaya and am unsure about how I can satisfy the requirement for 90 day reporting.

Last March in Khemarat (my local Immigration Office) I received a 12 month extension of my Non Imm O visa for Retirement and also a

multi re-entry visa. My query at my local Khemarat office then about 90 day reporting by mail was "cannot".

My question is what is the best way to satisfy the 90 day reporting option without have to drive to from Pattaya to Khemarat.

The options as I see them... shown in order of least difficulty are :

go to my local Immigation Office now in Pattaya and ask them

go to Suan Phlu Bangkok Rm 507 or

do a Pattaya -Koh Kong Cambodia visa run.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Sanuk

Make your report to Pattaya. Have proof of your new address when you report.

You could also fill out the change of address form and take it to immigration before your report is due.

Immigration should then request your file from Khemarat so you can do your next extension in Pattaya.

Hi again ubonjoe....as I have already been in Pattaya for three weeks would the 48 hour notification limit on TM28 cause me any grief when I present it at immigration. My condo owner told me he already did a TM30 when I arrived.

Thanks again

The tm28 is now a days not enforced. You would be the first case I would hear of.

If you move to a "hosted" place of residence (hotel, guesthouse, rented house or condo) then it is the responsiblilty of that business or landlord to report your presence via a TM30.

The TM28 serves the purpose where you move to a house or condo which you have purchased, or you move in with someone else as a roommate, thus there is no one but yourself to make the report.

I filed a TM28 when I moved to my own house in Pattaya. Immigration was at first puzzled by it, but after some consultation with the boss they accepted it AND bumped my report date up a full 90 days. That was my small but pleasant reward for playing by the rules.

You don't really need to do it. It was just an option instead of waiting for the 90 day report.

If the home owner already did the TM 30 you should be okay. Just wait and make your 90 day report but be sure and take proof of address they still might ask for it. Pattaya has in the past been reported as wanting to see a proof of address everytime you do your reports.
