I have an ATM card with the Visa plus on it. i can use this card at grocery stores and gas stations here in thailand. I also used in in cash machines in the USA. I tried to use it for internet purchases but it does not work. Any of you out there know which bank I can get a Debit card attached to a savings account that can be used for internet purchases ? At Kasikorn Bank you can ask for a special K-Internet card to use online. I don't know about the other banks though.

It's worth opening a Kasikorn Savings Account for this benefit.

Why don't you go back to the same bank that gave u the debit card, and ask for a credit card as well. I prefer using my cc, that way i can see the spesification of every transaction i did during the month. its working everwhere, and you can save points on it as well. And its a lot safer, since its not directly attached to your account.
