For Thai National Visit To Australia - What Visa Should They Apply?

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Gold coast with with girlfriend and intend to book all our air ticket and accomodation online rather than going to a travel agent, hence we would need to apply for our visa ourselves as well and have tried http://www.immi.gov.au for an online application but its not valid for Thai national.

Can someone advice how we can go about applying for the proper visa to Australia?

Only apply for a tourist visa. Do not hint that you may want to marry or anything. Do not buy tickets yet. You will have to apply through the embassy. Have ready details of her job and family commitments here and any other evidence that she will return here. Have ready details of how she can afford to live in australia. Maybe $200 a day of stay. They are unrealistic. Good luck.

You have 2 major hurdles, the first 1 is showing enough money to survive for the holiday period but more importantly and one of the major reasons for visa rejection - what assurance is there that she will return to Thailand and not overstay the visa.
