with all of this talk about how bad phuket is recently I just want to say I had a great Sunday, I was sailing this morning, got home had a nap then a swim then went to a great bar with 1/2 priced beer promotion for the F1 which was very boring, Jenson what happened! Had a fantastic roast beef dinner gone home again, another swim, the stars tonite are great, had a couple of drinks and am going to bed and I have spent less than 1000 thb.

expensive clubs! good for them, as an expat i think I have learnt to go where the value is so lets share those places and not what greedy falangs and Thais want us to indulge in.

Yes we had a fantastic Sunday to , I took my lovely Thai wife to a car boot sale where we bought a fantastic quality pine mirror for our new bungalow for £5 ( bargain at least £70 new ) a pair of garden shears old but good quality £1.50p a wooden fruit bowl £1 and some lovely fresh dug new potatoes £1 ,, then we went to Southend to the indo china shop stocked up on all her lovely sauces and spices and things ,, then moved on to Pagelsham village for a wonderfull pub lunch ( steak and kidney pie + 6 veg ) £10 each but a fantastic meal , and didnt my little wife tuck it away !!!!!! then on to one of my best mates who lives nearby for a swim in his pool , before we travellled home to watch Rory Bremner for a good laugh before we go to bed and ,,,,,,,,,,, well I will leave it there ,,,,,,,,,,,, yes a fantastic day thankyou ,all the best
