Hotels like Narai (silom rd) usually allow an early chk in as 11am , i dont think it is possible before that ... Narai is a good hotel here in bkk , its on silom rd , a bit expensive , but fine , also Bally's studio is a good budget friendlt hotel at sukhumvit soi 20 , not the hanky panky types

as business is very slow in Thailand and Bangkok at the moment, it should not be a problem to find such a place.

do some online-research and then call those place beforehand. I am sure many hotels or guesthouses will be more than happy to let u check-in at 8 a.m. and get an empty room filled for a few nights....

after all, it's a buyers market here right now

I have often turned up at a Sukhumvit hotel, usually City Lodge, before 8am and been allowed to go to my room either immediately or after a short wait of an hour or so. People often check out early to catch a plane and the cleaner goes in straight away.

Airport Bus AE2 drops you outside(Phra Athit Road Bus Stop) for 150 baht. Taxi is a reasonable option for two or more. Take only from the official Meter Taxi rank. 50 baht Airport surcharge is standard.
