Actually, if the Germans had won, Hitler would have been history soon after. With their mechanical innovativeness (first printing press, etc) Europeans would probably be floating around on non-polluting zeppelins, and alternative energy production would have gotten started decades earlier. The Nazis had a pretty cool fashion sense in their uniform designs, jack boots and motorbikes. ...just trying to look at the bright side, as I'm sure there could just as likely have been nefarious legacies in the mix.

And yes I know the manifold atrocities committed in Hitler's name, so no need to remind.

However ALL CAPS IRRITATES ME MORE, including run-on sentences with no comma, or full stop in the right places.

Of course we do have alternatives. If the term 'septic' causes offence to our Colonial brothers and sisters, we do have an alternative 'J. Arthurs' This is broken down from the original nick-name of Yank and put into cockney rhyming slang where the first part is used. For example, J. Arthur Rank was our big producer of films back in the day. Rank/yank! Get it? Thus, we reduce it to 'J. Arthur'. This is meant as an explanation to the depth of colour of English in the 'venacular'

Now why would Americans take offense to being called "septic"? After all, the general definition is as follows:

containing or resulting from disease-causing organisms

Let's face it, most people are eager to be called a "disease-causing organism". LOL

There's only about 1,000 other terms UKers could use that aren't insulting to Americans, but they decided "Septic" was best -- not be insulting, though. YA RIGHT! Sure it's not meant to be insulting.
