cuddleypete Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Late on Monday Night, Police were called to the Crystal Palace Hotel located on the Naklua Road after a Security Guard working at the location reported the detention of a man who had just attempted an armed robbery. Khun Grailert aged 26 explained that he was stationed in the car park of the hotel when a man wearing a small shoulder bag approached him and produced what appeared to be a gun. The suspected thief, later named as Khun Tirapong aged 27, demanded the Security Guard hand over his mobile phone. Khun Gairlert refused to comply and wrestled the suspect to the ground and called the Police. The gun was later found to be a plastic replica and the suspect, who had previous drug convictions, was charged with attempted aggravated theft at Banglamung Police Station. http://www.pattayaone.net/news/2009/june/n...3_06_52_4.shtml
