Richard Hall
What are some of the other strange logo phrases that Thai Companies put on themselves? This one sure has an intimidating ring to it: Shin Corporation: We See What Others Cannot **from their website** It's just a spelling error and gotta read "We Wee What Others Cannot" and still refers to the old monopoly days. Guess it'll fade out sooner or later with the competition growing stronger. Particularly in the rural parts of Thailand it has been switched already to "Climb a Tree When Others Cannot Hear You". Ajarn
Reminds me of the story of Coke entering the Chinese market with the slogan 'Coke adds life', which was translated as something akin to, 'Coke brings your relatives back from the dead'. Oh dear, does this mean you have to return the heritage? Better make sure it is acutally just water what you pour on the grave flowers particularly if it is the one of your ex-wife you used to pay alimony to. This is indeed scary and intimidating. That was actually in the Philipines. In China the name CocaCola translates to "Bite the wax tadpole" (great with rum:P). cv
