Featured Replies

for serious now, gmail has been giving me fits for a few hours now. anyone else? i know this might get me a yellow card for not posting in the computer forum but, this is serious business people! if i don't get to read my email, i'll probably die. a lot.

no problems with gmail at this end. just received an email, then sent myself a test mail, received in seconds.

no problems here

arggh! i'll try a different computer, but i can't imagine this is my computer causing the ruckus.

The only problems I have are when my link goes shonky.

Gmail itself sees OK.

dangit! works on my old desktop just fine. same ISP, same connection. i guess this thread can be closed as it's obviously some sort of computer-wide browser error. i;'m getting the same issue from FF, safari and chrome. i'm stumped...

will move it to the computer forum--maybe someone there has a solution.

Nothing unusual to report, Gmail works like a charm.

always log-in with https://

Seems fine for me. I have to admit I have very rarely ever had a problem with gmail.

clear cache, cookies and temp files! Gmail work without any problems.

Gmail support

There are definitely some problems with Gmail at the moment. I also have many odd problems. Check Gmails support forum, many others complaining too. Typically I can go to Gmail, but the ajax connection fails "trying to connect ..", "unable to reach gmail", "trying again" .. comes up in yellow on the top, but never succeeds, then a reload of the page and it works again for a while. A bit annoying so I hope they will find the problem and fix it soon. Maybe an issue with TT&T, I don't know, sometimes they mess about with things without really knowing what they're doing ..

^ I just tried using my proxy server with Gmail and with that the problem went away. Seems it's TT&T/Maxnet that's messing with the network again :)
