Anyone know where the Carrier air condintioning agent is in Pattaya?

I need to buy a new remote control as I dropped mine the other day and broke it.

It's getting hot so need A/C before I melt.

Next time you need any sort of remote, check at Amorn in the basement of TukCom. They have aircon remotes as well as TV and DVD ones. Way cheaper than the original OEM ones and just as good. Even got myself a Truevisions remote to replace the one where all the numbers have rubbed off the buttons!

Also in the area of TukCom is Soi Buakhao market which also has a selection of remotes (2nd hand I believe).

Enter from Pattaya Tai end of Soi Buakhao, the market is on both sides of the road, the left side is where the remotes are.

Anyone know a good place in Bangkok that has a large selection?

I just got a new remote for my Mitubishi at Cerntral Air on Sukhumvit, heading from North Rd. towards Klang it's just about level with where the construction of the flyover ends.

It sounds like it might be the same place Barry is talking about. They have lots of different makes but may have to order the remote. Mine took 2 weeks so you might have to sit in front of the 'fridge for a while yet
