Ldc++ For Win 2000

Featured Replies

I have downloaded LDC++ for files sharing, and am trying to install it under windows 2000.

My ZIP programme shows me the .exe file inside the .rar file,

but I do not seem to be able to install it.

What am I missing?

ldc++ is in Italian as far as I know, with options to change to english after installation. Maybe you will need to fiddle the language settings first. You do know that we have a thai file share DC hub?? Look through this section of the forum.

DaiMai - If you downloaded this file from its German developer (http://ldcpp.berlios.de), then I believe you may have what is called a "bin" or image file.

Normally such files are burned to a CD before installing. Your burning software (eg: Nero, Fireburner, etc.) should be able to handle it.

To view/extract/add/remove files, a little utility such as WinISO (http://www.winiso.com/) or MagicISO (http://www.magiciso.com/) will handle the job easly. Both offer trial downloads.

good luck :o

I worked it out eventually.

The downloaded file is .rar and I needed WinRar to unzip it.

LDC++ is up and running now.
