DLock Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) Having just purchased some land in Sukhothai (Ban Lan Hoi, near the waterfall) I am looking for advice from anyone who has built a property in the nearby areas that has a good experience with a building contractor. Specifically, a contractor that can build to more Western plan and standards...and would be ideal if he could speak English, although that's not essential. Build will be in 2 phases - smaller Guest house to move into first, then a larger house where I can be a pain in the butt and supervise daily build progress. Appreciate anyone who has advice or stories to share (good or bad) of building in that area. I am guessing it's going to be a difficult task, but I am looking forward to the challenge. edit for spelling.
