Old Tubby has split now,and his brother does them,now. Used too see him around 9 Elms market. :)

Anyway the Eels here are just as good,just cook them the same way. What better on the beach on a Sunday with Jellies,Salt n pepper, and a cold beer. :D

Had to be an Englishman with a post like that, even a Cockney one.

I was born and bred in the West End.....which may account for the fact that I HATED jellied eels.

Horrible things, I never tasted them as I just could not imagine putting it in my mouth. my old man loved em!

In Thailand you may find you have to add a little gelatin. (Because of heat, water or whatever.) You can find it in some supermarkets, Villa in Bangkok for example.
