4 To 6 Weeks To Find Out About Tourist Visa

My GF is applying for a Visa for the UK and i was expecting to find out is she was lucky or not while on holiday, anyways I sent a Email to the Visa people in Bangkok and got a reply saying (please note that due to a surge in applications non-settlement applications are now taking between 4-6 weeks to process and settlement applications 12 weeks. )

Looks like i wont find out for a long time.

We are putting the application in on the 27th July and with the intension of my GF coming to the UK at the end of September, which means i will have to book her flight here in the UK and not sure if i can with Emirates!!! (Thats if we are 2nd time lucky).

4 to 6 weeks is a long time to wait, plus they is a issue with all my documents that will be in Thailand, the likes of bank Statments Ect, OPk I trust my GF, but she share's a flat with her Friend.
