Non-imm O Options

Featured Replies

I'm about ready to head out at the end of my second 90 days on a non-imm O issued in my home country (US) in January. I was wondering what options there are for extending this visa when it eventually runs out.

I hold this visa under the auspices that I work outside and visit Thailand frequently. I received the visa from the Consulate in Atlanta, GA.

1) Do I have to go back to the States to get a new one when this runs out (last entry would make that around March 2010)?

2) Is it possible to extend w/in Thailand (I am not over 50)?

3) Is there anything else I should know before allowing it to expire (on my last visa trip) next January?

I've read the pinned info on this, but wanted to know if there's anything I missed. Thanks for all info.

If you do a border run the day before the Visa expires you will get another 90 days taking it into April and making a total of 15 months.

You cannot extend in Thailand unless you marry a Thai National pretty quick :) or get a job.

There are not many options open to you locally.

You may be able to get another Multi Non Imm O Visa in Perth Australia. Double Entry Tourist Visa in Vientienne Laos.
