Multiple Entry Extensions In Burma?

Featured Replies

I have a "non-o” multiple entry visa which I received from KL two months ago... I need to go for an extension before August 4.

Does anyone know how long they are giving extensions for in Burma/Ranong?

Thanks for any info.

A multi entry non immigrant O visa always gets a 90 day entry.

Thanks for the quick reply... I just wanted to double check because I thought I remembered Ranong only offering the tourist visa. Thanks for the clarification.

You already have a Visa so will get 90 days every time as long as your Visa is valid.

Ranong does not offer any visa - you get that from a Consulate outside of Thailand. You say that you have the visa so all you want is an entry stamp and with a valid non immigrant visa that stamp will be for 90 days.

OP seems a bit confused about nomenclature and procedure of doing a 'border-run' to obtain his next 90-day 'Permit of Stay' stamp. :)

I recommend to go through the information provided in the pinned thread on Visa types and terms here.

I also advise to do a search on the Ranong border-run before departing for an improved experience at the border. :D

Here two threads I found after a quick search.
