I am not really familiar with Chiang Mai - how easy would it be to get there without my own transport - taxi/tuk tuk is ok - any practical advice would be appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance, FD It's a bit out of town - approximately 15 kilometers from town central. It really depends upon where you are staying. Taxis go out there (much better than a tuktuk IMO) and the cost would be minimal. I would think the best choice would be to rent a motorcycle and go. As for when it occurs - Nov. 1 - 3.
