Sybic Dedicated Gps App For Iphone

Featured Replies

Iphone's implementation of GPS car navigation has been pretty poor especially with Gmaps in Thai. I suspect Tom Tom will be great but they dont do Asia. Sybic have just launched in Asia (inc Thailand) as well as the USA and Australia. It has generally had good reviews although at US$70 it ought to.

It has been out on the Windows and Symbian platform for a while. I wonder if anyone has tried it - anywhere? on any platform? Obviously the Asian version on the Iphone would suit best. Doesnt look like we are going to get a proper alternative for a while. Incidentally they are offering to give it to 'testers' for free if they are 'chosen' and give 'feedback'.

I will probably get it anyway. It might be expensive for an App but I bet I am not the only sucker in Thailand that spent Bt25,000 on a Garmin that I hardly used. At least this fits in my pocket.
