July 21, 200916 yr Was lucky enough to be in southern France in '99 for the total eclipse there. Don't know if the cloud cover will cooperate tomorrow morning but would like to show my 4 year old son. I guess it's very wishful thinking to imagine anyone in Thailand wearing or selling the special glasses needed. Should happen around 7:30 AM the way i read it, although not total this far south, but still should be partial and interesting.

I appreciate you may have already seen the posts, but be careful farang. A burnt retina is permanent damage and I find my eyesight quite useful, especially when counting my change given by the ****** ***** working in the 7-11 stores.....
July 22, 200916 yr Author Kinda sunny for a total eclipse ?? It was actually quite dark. Another pic from that day: And Billy the hat: What kind of vibes are you giving those 7-11 kids, i've never been shortchanged there. But thanks for the warning on the eye damage. It is now 7 AM and looks very cloudy so i'm expecting things to turn a little dark soon but don't think we'll be able to see the actual moon go in front.
