Hi

Looking to trace a guy who could be in Pattaya, I will call him 'Peter'.

He told me he was a Lieutenant Commander US Navy, and gave me the attached photograph.

To me, he looks awfully young for that rank, and the uniform rank insignia does not look right for a Lt. Cdr, can any ex US Navy Guys tell me if this photo is legit?

LOL! That's the insignia of a Navy Captain (equiv. to an Army Colonel). A Lt Commander's insignia is two "broad" stripes, with a "narrow" stripe in between. That rank being the equal of an Army Major.

Something tells me that you're going have trouble finding this guy! :-)
