kmufti Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hi guys. Just yesterday I talked to one of our respected senior forum member “Veazer” regarding Tot netcall service. Well ,I was interested to activate this service in my Apple iphone 2 G {Canadian edition} offcourse jail broken with 2.2 firmware and Tot Adsl 2mb net connection (in my house) So after some desperate tries to find some solution of it, just found a VoiP clint named “Siphon” Installed it in my iphone, put server address of tot in it and username and password. That’s it. And now it works Flawless in my iphone. Ohhhh I was never expecting it to work that good and that fast. So I thought to share my experience with my TV friends. cheers.... kami
nycboy57 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 i had to ask about this, I usually don't but this is to interesting for me. I have a 3G 16 Gig 3.0 from Taipei with Truemove, unlocked, don't really need to jailbreak, i did with my old 2G from MBK, but that is gone. I am pretty up to date about most of these things, however,I am totally lost about TOT netcall, I have TOT in my condo, can you be more specific on details and what it is for? I am able to Tether when TOT is out, with my macbook, but netcall? never heard of it? anyway there are no stupid questions eh? thanks in advance for sharing at least this much. surface Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 TOTnetcall is TOT's SIP service. You need an internet connection to make calls. Think Skype, but for cheap within Thailand calls that can be made from just about any SIP software. http://www.totnetcall.com/Default.aspx Does anyone know if TOT will enable multiple channels for a single account?
