How To Burn Ubuntu In A Cd, As Nero Is Saying Blank Cd Has Not Have Suffiecient Space.

How to burn Ubuntu in a CD, as Nero is saying blank CD has not have suffiecient space.

and this is because the Blank CDs are of the size of 700MB, but the ubuntu is of 698MB, and the CD needs 10 to 15 free space always.

so how to burn the ubuntu to a blank CD?

Maybe nero wants to add trash to it.   If its an offical iso of ubuntu it should fit a reg. cd.  If your using windows I always use the free power tools iso to image burner.  You may have installed already.  Has always worked just fine.

If its linux and kde I have never had a problem with using K3b for images.  I never run gnome but I beleave k3b runs on there anyway.

Try a few cd's just might be the cd's themself but I have never really had a problem with cd's,  even with the cheapo tesco ones I always use.

If your installing to a VM or VB you don't need an image just mount the iso as a virtual cd, runs faster then a cd anyway.

Obvious, we can endless talk how to burn or get a Ubuntu CD, but the most efficient way is to just PM me with your address detail and I send you a CD. I will even include a FREE copy of my "nearly" fully working MS Windows XP compatible operating system.
