Question of law in Thailand

I have just won a court case in Thailand for money that was taken from me by a Thai partner. I will be honest and say that even though the money taken should have been paid back I did not think I would get it.

The question although the court has ordered him to return the money what guarantee is there I will get it, like they say you can’t get blood from a stone. He has some assets I just wonder if these can be lien against. As you would in Spain.

If you are sure he has assets and those assets are in his name, get the lawyer to get to the court quickly and make a case before the judge for you to be able to seize those assets.

Yes, it can be done - I did it :)

Especially as you already have a judgement against him. But do it quickly before he changes the name on those assets.

Thanks G54

I will remind the lawyer to do that but he is good, so me thinks he will of sorted it but best to play safe.
