Hey Folks,

One of the Thai teachers at my school wants to employ a Phillipino to take care of her Dad. Apparently the women she wants to hire doesn't have a work permit. She is wondering can a Thai citizen get a work permit for a Phillipino w/o owning a business?

Not sure about the WP, but applying one as an employer without a business should not be the problem.

The problem will be getting a WP for a care-taker, as one of the requirements is that there is no suitable Thai person available for the position.
