i want to look at what windows vista loads when starting up. i assume it is the start menu but the only start menu i see doesnt have the programs it loads. how do i find this as i do not want vista to load several programs it is now loading. i looked everywhere but cannot find it

There are indeed alot of small utility programs that provides you with an easier interface to the startup programs list.

Glary Utilities and CCleaner are two other options (both free of course).
