An interesting topic from the Udon Thani forum where a poster attended a meeting where it was suggested that visa renewals in the future will be subject to adequate proof of healthcare being taken out by the farang.

Any other areas heard this as,if it happens,it could affect a lot of foreigners living here.

I don't see any evidence that is is being considered, other then what the poster there said. Without any further proof I don't see any point in discussing this subject as it is only a rumor.

If someone has evidence that it is being considered please contact a moderator so we can re-open this thread or start a new topic. But for now it is only a rumor without a solid base and therefor this topic is closed.
