buasaard
Did anybody use the pre-paid card? I've seen on the net the Loxinfo 63 hours and the Sanook card 100 hours. They seem pretty cheap. Are they good?
sting01
I use Idea net, this card is fully fonctionnal during 31 days, unlimited, just cutting every 4 hours, the cost is 400bht. You can find it in Pantip.
jayrockwell
I normally use the CS Internet prepaid cards, the service is always quick. Although last week I bought a CS-Loxinfo card and it considerably slower, almost the same as TOT's 1222 FREE service. I'm in Southern Thailand, may not be the same in other areas. JonnieB
i generally use cs/loxinfo prepaids...last was 63 hours for B750. decent service...sometimes difficulty connecting. am now trying out pacific internet "extreme" card. 30 days 24/7 unlimited for B349. uses 1222 number so local dial-ups free and have not had much difficulty connecting (1 or 2x in a week). speeds slower than lox (36kps) but fine for email and low-intensity surfing. 3 hour cut-off. so far i like...and would buy this card again. Mackerel
I've used cs and loxinfo cards many times in the past, now they've merged. You can buy a 300 hour package called ' webcafe ' or something similar. I have to say the connections seem a lot better with this package as opposed to the 60 hour cards. Perhaps you get priority over other surfers when you get the better package? I don't know, but I get the acceptable service now. Before, with low hour cards I had peak time problems, slow surfing etc.
sbk
if you use a tt&t phone use the t-net card -unlimited hours for one month for 300 something baht, cuts off after 3 hours, works most of the time, but then i could say that for all of them. have used all of them, have had problems with all of them. samart is pretty good most of the time, loxinfo used to be but haven't used it since they merged with cs, ksc usually is terrible. inet isn't bad. Noodles
Hi I am using JI Net at present but want to start downloading music and movies from the net. This is not going to happen if using this ISP. Does anyone know if there is an ISP who provides high internet speed? Cost not important. Thanks
LegalAlien
Bit suprised to hear that some of the unlimited hours cards cut out after 3 or 4 hours! I've been using e-15d for some time now (200 B for 18 days unlimited), and have been connected for 48 hours at a time downloading stuff (no... not porn ) - almost considered never disconnecting! The card can be quite hard to find (I've only ever seen it for sale in one 7eleven) and it is best used with a TOT number.
