Wanted Dead Or Alive

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if there is a central place or register to find if someone in Thailand is alive or dead Or any suggestions on who to use to find out and cost of this.

Personally I can't help you apart from suggest you provide more information as to the deceased, or not, you are looking for. Thai national, expat, tourist etc etc.

Regards.

Thai national. It is information about where to get details I would like. As asked does anyone know if there is a central registry.

If you know their ID number try your local Umphur office. When people marry or divorce I know they can check online for the person’s status and any ID card changes. Births and deaths are also registered with that office.

How did you know my ex-wife was looking for me?!?! :)

Thai National or foreigner - you don't say which?

If its a Thai national all you need is their full name and LKA (Last Known Address - home pref but work will do), or their ID card number: if you have their ID card number its easy - everything about Thai nationals revolves around their ID number.

If its an ex-pat who's living in Thailand, then its their full name and date of birth.

In both cases you want a contact who is willing to go press buttons on a keyboard in one or other of the gov departments - so, no - its not public domain info, buts there, its on database and its not to difficult to get if you know who to ask.

Thailand has next to know enforcement of data protection!

You stuck(?)- send me a private message.

Thai national.
