New Internet Connection For My New Place

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am searching for a new place to move into at the moment. This depends very much on the quality and bandwidth of the internet connection that i can get as i relie heavily on it for work. Preferably, I would like to have 2 different ISPs providing 2 internet connections as i cant afford any downtime(we all know how unstable the internet connection here is). I would like to have the true 8 mb plan as my main connection and the internet connection from the other ISP to be a backup. However, I won't know if the area im gonna move into can support the true 8mb plan unless i can give true a phone number they can check and i cant apply for a phone line unless i have already moved in. I have spoken to true about this but they insisted that i have a number for them. I cant communicate too well in thai, hence my frustration. I have spoken with the juristic person at every potential place ive visited and they all asked me to contact true. For some of the condos, true does not provide internet service to that project but some other ISPs do. Does that mean i can't use the internet servives from true? and if i can, how do i know if im near the DSALM to be able to get the 8mb plan? Thanks a mil for your opnions.
