Applying For A Telephone Line & Internet & Tv

Featured Replies

I'm moving in to a new apartment. I do not have a work permit yet. Will I have any problems applying to True to get a phone line, broadband and True satellite TV installed? Do they need to see a wp?

How long would it take for all this to be set up? I mean will True come straight out or will I be waiting weeks?

Can I get all of these services in a "package" from True? Do they only sell them as separate services/packages?

Any tips?

Thanks

You don't need a work permit for a phone line / internet connection, etc.

However they might ask for one, as they did when I went to their Fortune IT Mall sales office. I told her that you don't need a work permit for a phone line, you only need one for working, she went away and checked with the supervisor who confirmed you don't need a work permit. This was a year ago.

I think I wouldn't want to rely or be dependent on True as to an all inclusive package.

I would be more inclined to get the telephone and internet from another source such as TOT or CAT Telecom. I have had TOT internet for over a year, good connection speeds and only had a couple of minor problems.

No work permit required when I took true satellite.

The few problems you will experience is only with True.
