The two men entered the shop at 1.00pm, one wearing a black shirt and carrying a brown shoulder bag, the other, a long sleeved white shirt, walked into the store, requesting to buy a diamond ring. The men, insisted that the ring was gift wrapped and while the owner, Ms. Siriporn BangRakkit turned to pick up the necessaries in order to wrap the ring, the man in the black shirt snatched the ring, leaving Ms. Siriporon to wrap an empty box.

An update now on the alleged robbery of a 230,000 Baht Diamond Ring from a Jewelry Shop located in Central Festival Pattaya Beach. We can now report that the two men who were caught on the Security Cameras are now behind bars. They were arrested in Bangkok following a tip-off from a taxi driver who remembers taking the two men to a Hotel close to China Town. The full names of the two suspects are Mr. Louduan Zhu aged 46 and Mr. Zhuande Luo aged 31 both from China. The two men were handed over to Pattaya Police by their colleagues from Bangkok who made the arrest and a press conference was then held featuring Khun Siripon, the owner of the shop who positively identified the two men. Both suspects denied allegations of theft despite the camera evidence but in an attempt to clear the case they offered to pay Khun Siripon the sum of 230,000 Baht to cover the cost of the stolen ring which is yet to be recovered. The case is already with the Court therefore a financial settlement is not possible and the case is expected to be heard in court later this week.
